STATE OF BIAFRA MOURNS DR. CHUBA OKADIGBO
The Nation of Biafra mourns the demise of one of its most illustrious and industrious Sons, the OYI of OYI, Dr. Chuba Okadigbo and one of the custodians of the Igbo mystery. A cross-bearer of the Igbo struggle for a place under the Sun, a Marching force, Voice of the Voiceless, Dr. Chuba Okadigbo who was murdered by the Nigerian State under the supreme command of Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo (The Nigerian Maximum Dictator).
· MASSOB’s opination is a statement of fact for the actions of Gen. Obasanjo against Nigerians, particularly against Ndi-Igbo and their Eastern brothers is a furtherance of his unfinished job in the East during the organized Genocide in the East during the Biafra/Nigeria civil war.
· Obasanjo was quoted by the Washington Post Editorial of July 2nd 1969 of saying the following: “One word now describes the policy of the Nigerian Military Government towards Secessionists Biafra. GENOCIDE. It is ugly and extreme but it is the only word which fits Nigeria’s decision to stop the International Committee of the Red Cross, and other relief agencies from flying food to Biafra …”
· The series of murders and attempted murder on the lives of those who are opposed to the life presidential ambition of Gen. Obasanjo before during and after the “Elections” shows that he (Obasanjo) is most desirous to remain in power forever and that he will stop at nothing to eliminate every obstacle that stands on his way, Nigerians must stand up and stop that “Macbethcanization” of politics.
· Gen. Obasanjo and his brother Alhaji Tafa Balogun (The Inspector General of Police ‘IGP’) should answer the following questions: -
1. Why were Dr. Chuba Okadigbo and others violently stopped at the Kano Gate only to have canisters of teargases which chemical and biological contents are still undetermined thrown at them. 2. On whose orders were the Policemen acting; was it that of the Commissioner of Police, Kano State, that of the Inspector General of Police or that of the President.
3. We posit that more Nigerians, particularly the Igbo extraction and their Eastern brothers will likely die in an very unclear circumstances in the days ahead, to support the birth of Biafra is not only Divine but also Moral and Political and the only solution to prevent the total annihilation of our people.
4. We are convinced that Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo and the Nigerian State lack the moral, political and legitimacy to constitute an investigation or enquiry into the circumstances surrounding the death of Dr. Chuba Okadigbo as the exercise of the sovereignty of Nigeria over Biafra exists no more and the government of Gen. Obasanjo is illegal as same flows from a morally, politically and indefensible elections.
